Your main goal will be to drive the innovation for the digital products of the paid media news. The topics you will be working on range from central data architecture to paywall technology and personalization of our digital products. You will work closely with the product owners in the different areas like Digital Product and E-Commerce to shape the future of paid media at Tamedia.

Solution Architecture Lead (f/m) 80-100%
Your responsibilities
- Identify ways for technology to support business goals and bring great solutions to our customers
- Work out concepts to solve engineering problems and ensure they are properly implemented
- Challenge all important technical decisions and keep the big picture
- Act as a technical interface across projects and teams
- Lead your fellow Software Engineers in all technological questions
- Be the go-to expert for all questions regarding Software Architecture
- Define engineering best-practices and improve development processes
Your profile
What we offer
- At least 8+ years of experience building, scaling and maintaining production systems
- Drive to bring innovation and change
- Proven experience in defining software architectures and integrating different systems and services to work smoothly together
- Strong analytical thinker, who can think outside the box
- Experience as Full-stack Engineer
- You enjoy rolling up your sleeves and getting into the code when needed
- Familiarity with cloud services and architectures
- Experience working in agile environments
- Master degree in Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Able to work and deliver under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to influence through the strength of ideas
- Fluent in English, German and French are a plus
