Do you want to join our new front-end development team and help some of the most successful paid news media in Switzerland to increase the performance of their SEO activities? Are you passionate about measuring, understanding and optimizing organic search results in large scale? Are you fascinated by online platforms and their amount of data? Then you've come to the right place! We are looking for an SEO Manager to strengthen our product team.
Within our new front-end development team, you will work closely with highly motivated colleagues with different backgrounds to optimize our front-end, the system architecture and the content management system.

Technical SEO Manager (f/m) 80-100%

Responsibilities:
  • Audit, plan, implement, analyze and improve all type of SEO activities
  • Define, monitor, and analyze all available search KPIs to measure success and report on results
  • Actively manage all on-page SEO, including taxonomy, product naming standards, site architecture, canonicalization, link-building, schema and meta tags
  • Consistently track and assess competitors and Google evolution in order to identify competitive opportunities and provide actionable & result driven optimization recommendations
  • Work with the product and development teams to ensure best practices are properly implemented
  • Recommend changes to the website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positioning
Qualifications:
  • Several years of relevant SEO experience
  • Experience with technical SEO and large scale website migration on multiple platforms
  • Experience with JavaScript SEO, specifically React.js, and the common SEO audit & data analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Data Studio, Searchmetrics
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; must have a data-driven decision-making orientation
  • Speaking English fluently, German and French are a plus
