The online edition of 20 Minuten reaches over 5 million people throughout Switzerland. To enable more than 100 journalists to reach that audience, we provide them with a modern Content Management System. The new CMS will be developed with the React stack, for which we are looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer.

Your activity
As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you are a mentor and experienced team member for six other Frontend Engineers. You influence the Frontend stack we use and are the point of contact when it comes to software architecture issues. In addition to your colleagues in Zurich, you also enjoy working with our colleagues in Belgrade. You are a sparring partner for experienced product owners and passionate journalists who depend on your advice.

Your Profile
You have several years of experience as a software engineer (a university education is nice, but not a must), clean code is important to you, and you understand, that unit and integration testing is an integral part of engineering activities. You communicate clearly and concisely with colleagues from the business as well as with the more technically focused team members. German is useful. The most important thing, of course, is that you enjoy your work.
