We want to build a new mobile experience for the ricardo.ch marketplace, from the ground up. We want to enable users to interact with the marketplace when they are on the go with a no-frills straightforward app that helps them to get things done. You will have the chance to shape this app from the ground up, a greenfield project, testing the app with beta users and iterating on user feedback.
You bring in the latest knowledge on code and usability patterns for mobile apps and love looking at the user side of the app, always challenging how "the user uses it".

Your Responsibilities:
- Build efficient and maintainable apps
- Fast code-prototyping to experiment with UI and UX
- Monitor, trace and solve issues
- Take strong ownership of code and your users
- Participate in full development cycle, from initial design to production release
- Share best practices with others and help establish engineering standards
- Collaborate with User Experience Designers, Product Managers and other Software Engineers to improve our mobile apps
Your Profile:

- Experience working with UX designers in shaping the design and usability of apps
- Strong feel about design and UX, as well as apps usability and design
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Mastery of mobile development tools and best practices
- You breathe mobile technologies and coding
- A bachelor's/master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Fluent in English
