Executive education is one of the core activities of IDEPI-HSG and aims at developing skills of practitioners and organizational change to collaborate more effectively towards impact. To develop the division executive education of IDEPI-HSG and implement a pilot for a Public Entrepreneurship Academy in collaboration with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation we are looking for a
Head executive education (f/m)
60-80% (start as soon as possible or in January 2020)
What to expect

  • Based on an existing concept for the Public Entrepreneurship Academy (PEA) you will develop the detailed syllabus, validate it with future participants, establish partnerships with lecturers, coordinate the implementation of the pilot and conduct a detailed evaluation.
  • You are responsible for establishing innovative executive education offerings for different sectors. This signifies developing additional executive training programs and formats as well as gaining partners to prototype and implement them.
  • You will join a small, dedicated and collaborative team. IDEPI-HSG is still very much in a start-up phase. A dynamic environment with plenty of opportunities to shape the development of the organization and its activities await you.
Your profile

  • Your educational background is in business (education), economics, political science, (organizational) psychology, or related fields.
  • You have multiple years of experience related to executive education, ideally with a focus on learner-centered approaches, action-based learning, organizational change and (systemic) coaching.
  • Your established network of experts and potential partners can provide a valuable contribution to the success of IDEPI.
  • You are driven by impact – in the SDG sense – and pursue your goals with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for innovation and co-creation. You always keep an open mind and are flexible when it comes to implementation details.
  • You feel comfortable with uncertainty and are motivated to shape the development of the institution you are working for. Ideally, you have leadership experience in a startup setting.
  • Collaboration – within the team and with external partners – is crucial to you. You can empathize with team members, partners and customers. At the same time, you are self-reliant in defining and implementing your tasks in a solution-oriented manner.
  • You are familiar with state-of-the-art leadership and innovation methods (e.g. Theory U, Design Thinking, Agile Methods, ...).
  • Ideally, you have experience working with or within the public administration and in public private partnership settings.
  • You are fluent in German and English; French is a plus.
