Are you passionate about analyzing, understanding, and optimizing digital products and monetization - both from a quantitative and qualitative perspective? We are looking for a multi-disciplinary, creative digital analyst to further strengthen our team (Zurich & Lausanne).

You will be an integral part of the Data Insights & Analytics team within Digital Paid Media, where you will help develop and strengthen Tamedia's core business - paid media (e.g. Tages-Anzeiger, Tribune de Genève, 24 heures, or Berner Zeitung). This includes optimizing and improving our products as well as gaining new insights about our users/readers. Hence, our team works in the intersection of editorial departments, product, marketing, and IT.

Digital Analyst (f/m/d) 80-100%

Your Mission & Responsibilities
  • Your enthusiasm for data will drive change towards a more data-informed culture within the organization
  • Your data analysis and research will generate relevant questions, answers and actionable insights to guide product development and marketing
  • Your visualizations and presentations will prove invaluable to stakeholders and other teams
  • Your reportings and automated insights will aid journalists and editors in their daily work
Must-have / Minimum Qualifications
  • Higher education degree in an industry-relevant field such as economics, sociology, statistics, technology, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with analyzing data and the ability to identify trends and create valuable insights
  • Knowledge of digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Firebase or Tag Manager
  • Good understanding of web and app technologies
  • Experience with visualizing complex data in a simple way
  • Cross-functional communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity, with high attention to detail
  • Fluent in German and English

Nice-to-have / Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics 360 and related technologies
  • Experience working with BI and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, DataStudio) and the ability to create impactful presentations
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, Python), querying databases (e.g. SQL) and statistical analysis (e.g. R, SPSS)
  • Hands-on experience in planning and setting up A/B/n tests
  • Comfortable in working with fluid and complex organizational structures across an array of brands, departments, and teams in multiple locations, as you will need to build and maintain cross-functional relationships
  • Solid statistical knowledge
  • Proficiency in French
